You can't have a personal site without the obligatory about page, so here it
goes... But are you sure there isn't anything more constructive you'd rather be
doing right now?
I'm from Rome, Italy, but I have moved around a lot. I grew up in
Italy, France and the United States. Right now I live in the warm city of Toronto, Canada,
although I plan on going back to the United States and finishing college there... eventually.
I'm not particularly thrilled about living in Canada though: it is just a poor imitation of
the USA, minus all the elements that make America such a great
country...
Basically I'm a computer geek... But apart from information technology, film has been
one of my growing interests for a while. I've even seriously considered film school, although the more
I think about it, the more it sounds like a bad idea. You can't exactly go to Hollywood
after four years of film school, degree in hand, and expect to direct a feature... It seems to be a
business based entirely on connections and pure luck, as opposed to hard work or even talent! And while
it sounds more exciting than hacking code all day, show business is hardly something that I'd expect to rely on.
I'm probably better off sticking with computers. See my silly list for
some of my other interests, if you're at all curious. Or see my résumé for
more formal information.
I'm 22 years old, by the way, and I haven't accomplished anything with my life yet, but
hopefully that will change someday... I want what most people want: to make the world a better
place, money, fame, etc... But above all I'd like to be happy. Happy with who I am
and with the world around me. Unfortunately I don't know how to achieve that yet. So I'm a pretty
morose guy in general, and also way too sensitive... it all adds up to quite a dysfunctional person.
Woohoo! Do I sound like a fun guy to be around or what?!
Well, that's about all I'm gonna say. I probably said too much already... should have lied my
ass off and actually made myself look good for a change. Oh well, no one is reading this anyway.
